ORMSIDE FRINGE FESTIVAL – SELLS OUT!
Wow what a night!
Despite all the wind and rain, this was the first time in memory that we have had to turn our friends away at the door – to all those, our apologies, but we were seriously full and unable to take anymore in. Many thanks for your support, please make sure that you reserve a ticket for future events, we really hated not being able to let you in.
Who would have thought that we had so much, really exceptional, local talent? Our guests were treated to an extensive range of acts, introduced by one of our (trouserless) “sand-dancers” our MC, Clive Wrigley.
The Eden Ensemble and the Upper Eden Community Choir joined the line up with some old, favourite songs for what was a really memorable evening.
Overwhelmingly, our feedback was very positive, with many asking when the next one will be – the answer to that question is that we hope to repeat the event next year – so please do start practicing your act!
If there was one event that highlighted why we need to make the Village Hall improvements – this was most certainly it!
Our thanks to everyone involved from our audience, our performers and helpers and especially Sue Wigley who fought (sometimes almost single-handedly) against the “nay-sayers” to bring this production to life – a great job.
Below are just some photographs to remind us all of a fabulous village evening.

Congratulations to all our performers – all summed up in one word
– WOW!
