Across the whole of the country (and yes, even including Borchester!), communities are coming together to:-
“CLEAN FOR THE QUEEN”
2016 celebrates Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th Birthday, and in recognition communities across the UK are joining in a campaign to clear litter within their local Areas.
Great Ormside is planning their campaign on 2 April 2016 (meet at the village Hall at 10.00am). All equipment (high-viz vests, pickers and bags etc) are all provided and we are planning to cover the area of Ormside Ward.

Our girls have grown and fled "our nest", I have just accepted that I am retired from the business world, and the "family wisdom" was that it is a good time to downsize and put myself and my wife (Anne) first.
That alone is proving to be a tough call! but as we are start the next chapter of our life in our new home in the beautiful village of Great Ormside, I unexpectedly find myself enjoying newly found freedoms with our very enthusiastic Labrador and even more surprisingly returning home to our new kitchen to create some imaginative dishes using our unequalled quality of local produce. Life's pretty good!

Thank you to all the Ormside residence who helped with the clear up. We filled 27 rubish bags. The sad reality is that on Sunday morning there were beer bottles and dog poo bags again on Mill lane,
